Location. The Outlook Lodge is located in Johannesburg, South Africa, within one kilometre of Korsman Bird Sanctuary and eight kilometres from the Emperor's casino.
Hotel Features. Outlook Lodge is built in a Tudor style, with a half timbered wooden frame offsetting white walls. The lodge overlooks the Benoni Golf Course and features a garden with a variety of birds, a koi pond and a lounge with a fireplace for reading or watching television.
There is a complimentary continental or full English breakfast served daily at Overlook Lodge. A number of restaurants are located nearby. The Lodge can also order meals and serve them in guests' rooms. Traditional South African barbecue can be cooked on request in the outdoor entertainment area.
The Lodge features an outdoor swimming pool and a games room with table tennis, dart board and board games. Reflexology and therapeutic massages can be arranged in guests' rooms. A nearby gym offers sauna, aerobics, spinning and free weights, and guests are entitled to a discount.
Guestrooms. Outlook Lodge offers five guestrooms overlooking the garden and decorated in classic white, with earth shades and dark mahogany. Guestrooms include ceiling fans, satellite television and hair dryers. Microwaves and refrigerators are available on request.
Expert Tip. There are many walking and jogging trails surrounding the lodge and curving throughout the bird sanctuary, one kilometre from the hotel. There are two guides at Outlook Lodge who can take guests on safaris to Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve or Kruger National Park.

From Johannesburg O.R. Tambo International Airport (JNB):
Distance to Outlook Lodge is 10 kilometres, approximately 10 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Taxis are available from Johannesburg airport to Outlook Lodge and cost approximately 160 R. Outlook Lodge provides complimentary airport transport. Airport accredited vehicles should display the ACSA logo, and the fare should be negotiated prior to departure. Buses and taxis to the city centre wait opposite Terminal A. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. The best way to explore Johannesburg is by car. Buses run to destinations throughout Johannesburg and the surrounding areas. Taxis should be booked in advance.
Driving directions. From Johannesburg Airport.
Exit the airport taking the Boksburg R21 road.
Pass the Emperor's Casino on the left, and then take the N12 to Witbank in an easterly direction.
The second turn off will be Atlas Road.
Turn off here and at the traffic lights turn right heading across the highway.
Cross two sets of traffic lights and turn left at the third onto Lakefield Ave.
Pass the Shell Garage on the left and shortly after passing the Lakefield Square shopping centre, turn right. (This is still Lakefield Ave.)
A Planet Fitness Gym will be on the left.
Turn right on the second road, Sunnyside, and then right again at the second onto Ambleside.
The hotel is the first house on the left on the corner of Sunnyside and Ambleside street.
